How to Use This Kit (4-Step NDT Process)

1. Pre-Clean Surface:
Step 1

Spray C101-A Cleaner onto the testing zone and dry completely with the cleaning wipe. Surface must be free of grease, dirt, and scale so the dye can enter cracks.

2. Apply Red Penetrant:
Step 2

Spray a uniform coat of P101S-A Red Penetrant over the target area. Let it sit (dwell time) within the 40°F–125°F window to soak deeply into surface faults.

3. Wipe Away Excess:
Step 3

Moisten a cloth with the cleaner and clean away surface-level red dye. Do not spray cleaner directly on the crack, or you might wash away the penetrant trapped inside the flaw.

4. Spray Developer & Inspect:
Step 4

Shake D101-A Developer vigorously and apply a thin coat. Watch the white powder draw out the hidden red dye, making any fractures instantly visible. Mark findings with the yellow marker.
